No Fee Statement
We do not charge you any fee for our services.

We do not charge you anything
Sumraksha Financial Services LLP does not bill you, deduct from your account, or otherwise charge you any fee for the services we provide as a mutual fund distributor. There is:
- No fee to open a folio or complete your KYC.
- No advisory, planning or consultation fee.
- No fee to place, modify or track a purchase, redemption, switch, SIP, SWP or STP.
- No fee for the general information, calculators or investor education we may share.
- No account-opening, maintenance, exit or service charge of any kind billed by us.
How we are paid instead
We are remunerated entirely by trail commission, paid to us by the mutual fund out of the scheme’s own expenses, only for Regular Plan investments. This is disclosed in full, with rates, on our Commission Disclosure page. You never pay this commission to us directly; it is already built into the scheme’s expense ratio, which is why a Regular Plan’s expense ratio is higher than the same scheme’s Direct Plan.
No separate transaction charge either
Distributors were once permitted to deduct a one-time transaction charge (up to ₹150 for a new investor or ₹100 for an existing one) from a subscription of ₹10,000 or more. SEBI withdrew this provision from the Master Circular for Mutual Funds with immediate effect on 8 August 2025 (SEBI/HO/IMD/PoD1/CIR/P/2025/115). We do not levy any such charge.
Charges that are not ours
You may still see certain deductions in your statement. These are levied by the scheme or by law, not by Sumraksha:
- The scheme’s expense ratio (which includes our commission, but is fixed by the mutual fund, not by us)
- Exit load, if you redeem before the period stated in the scheme’s documents
- Securities Transaction Tax, GST and other statutory levies
Choosing a Direct Plan
If you invest directly with a mutual fund in its Direct Plan, no distributor, including Sumraksha, is paid any commission on that investment, and its expense ratio is correspondingly lower. We deal only in Regular Plans; see our Commission Disclosure page for what that means for you.
Read together with our Commission Disclosure, made under SEBI circular SEBI/IMD/CIR No. 4/168230/09 dated 30 June 2009 and the SEBI Master Circular for Mutual Funds.
