Our commitment

The personal information you share with us is kept strictly confidential. We protect it with at least the same care we use for our own confidential information, and we use it only to serve you and to meet our legal obligations.

Information we collect

• Identity and KYC details, including your name, PAN, address and date of birth
• Contact details: mobile number and email address
• Bank account details and nominee details
• Tax residency (FATCA) details
• Your risk profile, investment objectives and transaction details

We collect only what we need to provide our services and to comply with Indian law. We collect it from you, and from KYC registration agencies when we check your KYC status.

How we use your information

• To complete your KYC, open and service your mutual fund folios, and process the purchases, redemptions, switches and systematic transactions you ask for through NSE’s mutual fund platform (NMF II).
• To keep you informed about your investments and, with your consent, about the services we offer.
• To improve our service. For this we may combine the information you give us at our office, on our transaction platform, by email and by phone.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Sharing with third parties

We share your information only with those who need it to serve you:

• Mutual funds and their registrars (CAMS and KFinTech)
• KYC registration agencies
• NSE, for transactions on its mutual fund platform (NMF II)
• Service providers who support our operations, such as the provider of our transaction platform

Every service provider must keep your information confidential and may hold it only for as long as its service to us requires. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with group companies for cross-marketing.

Disclosure required by law

We disclose personal information to government agencies, regulators such as SEBI and AMFI, and courts when the law requires it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable security practices and restrict access to your information to the people who need it to serve you. Access to your account on our transaction platform is protected by your own login credentials. See our Security page for how your transactions are protected.

What you can do

• Keep your login credentials confidential and change your password regularly.
• Log out when you finish using our transaction platform, especially on a shared device.
• Register your own mobile number and email address in your folios. Account statements, transaction confirmations and one-time passwords are sent to them. We never register our contact details in your folios.

Keeping your information accurate

Please tell us when your contact details, bank account or other information change, by email to info@sumraksha.com or sumrakshainvestment@gmail.com or by phone on +91 99232 01634. We update the mutual funds, their registrars and the KYC registration agencies on your instruction, and protect the updated information in the same way.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as the law, regulations and our agreements with mutual funds require.

Investments for minors

For a folio held in a minor’s name, we process the minor’s information with the consent of the parent or guardian who operates the folio.

Your rights

You can ask to see a summary of your information, correct or update it, have it erased where the law allows, withdraw your consent, or nominate a person to exercise these rights for you. Withdrawing consent may stop us from servicing your investments. To make a request, contact our Grievance Officer, whose details are below.

If we do not resolve your concern, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This website has no forms, logins, cookies, analytics or tracking, and it collects no personal information.
